#HashTag : ปีใหม่ทีไร ผมจะทำอยู่เรื่องนึงเสมอคือ “ตรวจสุขภาพประจำปี” และปีนี้กำลังจะกลับไทย เลยเริ่มมองหาแพ็กเกจตรวจสุขภาพในโรงพยาบาลที่ไทยแบบจริงจัง พอไล่ดูรายละเอียดกับราคาแล้ว ต้องยอมรับตรงๆ ว่าแพ็กเกจที่ตรวจลึก ครอบคลุมจริง โดยเฉพาะเรื่องฮอร์โมน หัวใจ ไทรอยด์ Metabolic ราคาส่วนใหญ่ไปอยู่ที่หลักหมื่นปลายๆ ถึงหลักแสน แถมหลายแพ็กยังเป็นการ “ตรวจพื้นฐาน” มากกว่าการมองความเสี่ยงล่วงหน้า แล้วผมก็มาเจอแพ็กเกจของ Function Health ในอเมริกา ซึ่งทำให้ต้องหยุดคิดใหม่เลยครับหลายคนอาจสงสัยว่า “แล้วตรวจสุขภาพประจำปีตาม Guideline ที่หมอแนะนำ หรือที่ประกันเบิกได้ มันไม่พอเหรอ?”คำตอบคือ… มันพอในระดับหนึ่ง แต่ต้องเข้าใจก่อนว่า Guideline หรือคำแนะนำมาตรฐานต่างๆ ไม่ได้ถูกออกแบบมาเพื่อให้คุณ “รู้ทุกอย่าง” เกี่ยวกับร่างกาย แต่ถูกออกแบบโดยคำนึงถึง ความคุ้มค่าทางเศรษฐศาสตร์ (cost-effectiveness) ควบคู่ไปด้วย พูดง่ายๆ คือ ตรวจเท่าที่ “จำเป็นในประชากรส่วนใหญ่” ตรวจเท่าที่ “คุ้มกับงบประมาณระบบสาธารณสุข/ประกัน” ตรวจเมื่อ “อายุถึง” หรือ
